What is Tusome?

Tusome Pamoja is a local non-profit dedicated to helping students regain their confidence and self advocacy skills. The students come from diverse backgrounds all over the world and have often experienced interuption in their education. Unfortunately, when this interupption occurs during formative years it often has a life long impact and affects all aspects of their lives. At Tusome, volunteers help to improve students skills with math and reading while also spending time playing and interacting with them, leading to healthy postive bonding with volunteers and students.
