About Baking For A Change
Making Change Possible

Since working with Tusome for the last year, I felt the need to help refugee children feel more comfortable in their new homes. Tusome's focus on English and math for children of all ages gives them the tools they need to succeed in school and life, while playtime encourages socialization and teamwork.
Naturally, these activities require funding. Therefore I decided to found a charity to help generate funds to help expand Tusome even more. Even though it is a new organization, Baking For A Change has already made tremendous strides thanks to the help of members and volunteers in the Richmond community.

About Me:
Hi, my name is Aryaan Agnihotri and I am a student at St Christophers School in Richmond, Virginia. I have always wondered about how kids live in other countries. I've been fortunate enough to spend time with lots of kids all over the world and this has allowed me to gain perspective in how it feels to be "the new kid" in not just a new school, but even a new city, state or country.
About Tusome Pamoja
The central theme of Tusome is all about the children. Equal and equitable education is a right, not a privilege. Their mission is to provide literacy and numeracy skills, as well as confidence and self-advocacy skills to their students.
Baking for a Change
All proceeds from fundraising go toward Tusome Pamoja to allow children to be able to have access to education, supplies for school and meals at a time in their life when any interruption can have life- long consequences.
